Well the site has some elements unfinished, but then again is any website truly ever finished ?

Key to this design was an ability to filter application specific content to enhance the user search relevance and overall viewing experience. The filtering of website visitors also enabled a strong application specific SEO feature to better focus on individual meta and header tags for keyword search. Another main design objective was to include the ability to integrate BC modules. BC modules are running on News and FAQ, other modules will follow later including a forum, so hopefully it will turn out something like this :)

I have used a whole host of Muse Themes Widgets on this site, they are excellent keep up the good work. The integration of big text and great photos looks gorgeous but for an e-commerce website it makes things a little more difficult to tick the necessary SEO boxes. I wanted to switch off our Google Ad's by building a site to rank on page 1 on the organic listing.

The design idea was to use animated video to replace images which fail to tell a more detailed story whilst retaining some element of wow factor. Regarding different devices, I considered that desk top users would wish to have an uncompromised old fashioned straight click to page experience and not to have to endure lengthy scroll down to content. But we dropped tradition on the menus and used easy big button selection with the sweet Muse Themes Sidebar menu.

The tablet version was to be completely different. After the application selection the format is more of a one pager to maximise the preferred tablet screen swipe down to content. The phone version was designed first (I strongly recommend this to help focus designs on what's the most important message to portrait in the smallest space). The phone is a click to page with minimal scrolling needs but with appropriately sized text and reduced content. Although I think scrolling content for the phone could work for some sites, for us it was difficult to adopt as we had several routes to content. Phone content should be brief and straight to the point, so there shouldn't be much reason the scroll down on a phone.

In summary, I think the site is certainly unique and we are achieving page 1 in Google organic search on completed applications. There really is no point in having a beautifully designed and looking websites if no one can find it. So we will now set to work on sales conversions of our increased visitors on the completed applications, before we finalise the site.

Let me know what you guys think, I can also forward details of animated video source etc.

    Cheers Richard

Richard, nicely done, thank you for sharing. For what opens as a simple, clean design, I bet there must be a ton of individual page designs. I liked the way you did your main menu.
Thanks for using MT and keep up the great work.

Your so right.... excluding BC modules and templates (Muse used as a code generator) circa 300 pages.150 on desktop, 60 on tablet and 80 on the phone. Ongoing and will never truly be finished....still all for a good cause !

BTW Anyone intrested in the video animation source Lewis Rogers at http://www.lranimation.com/

Thanks Alex, much appreciated, i notice on the new forum a couple of bug fixes one on the language translator with sidebar menu and the YouTube fix to keep video library in order.......I missed those before so will sort those.

I think I mentioned to you guys on the old forum, to integrate BC modules using Muse was not so easy, a steep learning curve and something that you guys could decide to look into at designing a new BC integration widget to help others :)
