Any new news on the updates to the Table Connect CSV
wesm12, as the last I heard the team is still looking at a number of updates to the widget.
I'll let them know the interest is still strong.
My local csv file is not working when I test and export but when i choose Google docs, its work.
Is there any specific setting for local csv method? kindly help me out.
Asif, could I ask you to start a new thread on this? It's not the same topic as the original post, and it will help keep things clearer.
Also, when you do, please include as much information as to what you tried, or what specifically you may have changed or modified.
I suggest placing the widget on a new blank page, entering your CSV files, and testing the widget. I just went through those steps as a simple test and everything was working fine. This will allow us to use that as a base line in troubleshooting.
Thank you for understanding.
Hi! I have some question. It doesn't work in explorer 11.
But, it did work in Chrome. How can I fix it?
Please help me. Thank you.
Ted, could you try running the widget on a new blank page/site. Only the widget itself on the page of a new site.
Let me know if it works in IE that way.
Love, love, love! the new functionality.
Links are brilliant.
This really cuts down on my time spent updating the stats.
And I just realised what else I can do with this - for one of our other sites...
I need to find some time in my schedule to use those new wireframes and rework the site.
(And yes the real estate market has gone slightly insane up here.)
How did you get the links to work in your table? I still can't do it.
I made sure I had the new version installed in the library and placed it on my page in muse and then just followed the video instructions. Sometimes you have to upload all files (in the muse upload - not just modified) again to get it to work properly.
will give it a try... Thanks for the speedy reply
This is the code I ended up with in one of the cells that has the link:
<a href="http://schilstrarealestate.ca/st-catharines-real-estate-report-brief-2017.html" target="_blank" title="" style="font-size:14px; color:#ff0000;font-family:Arial;text-decoration:underline;">St Catharines</a>
Still not working for me. I copied your code, edited my own link and text and inserted it in my table. I even took your whole link and added it to my own table and it didnt work. Did you modify the table somehow? Did you just add the link as the text?
This is how it looks in my file (see attached.)
I wiped my old library and setup/content google sheets.
I installed the new library widget.
I installed the new setup and content google sheets.
Copied my content into the new sheet.
Copied the codes into the widget.
Then generated one of the links using the code generator link in the widget.
Then copied and modified it for each link in the google sheet.
Then I published the entire site again - as sometimes doing the modified files only does not work.
Not sure if that is needed, superstitious behaviour on my part?
awesome..I think I got it. In fact i am sure. Thank you for your help
Cool, I got the images to work as well, but never got a chance to update the site with it. Hate to say I am working on a wordpress site now - as I found a nice DDF add on. Easier to get that stuff in the US than up here. Sure miss my Adobe Muse, hacking around with Divi builder.
