Hello, on this page https://docs.muse-themes.com/themes/color-shoppe at 5:00 you start to show how to change the name of color shop but then you say go check out the tutorial for Hero Connect first. Well I have looked at every tutorial and have seen nothing that comes back to this point.

I tried what seemed logical going to Muse in the Master / "Content Widgets Spreadheet" then creating my own published google docs, changing the color shoppe wording in my google docs and copy pasting the html address back into the "Content Widgets Spreadheet" but no change in wording

Can you point me in the right direction?

Soul, at the 5:15 mark of the video, Ashton talks about where to change the Color Shoppe name (column H).
The reference to the Hero connect video is only to make sure a user is familiar with using the Spread sheet style widgets, before messing with the Hero Connect widget.
    Hope this helps

@DjHerold To simplify, how do you change the word "Color Shoppe" in the template? Can you show how to do that?

Soul, to use the Hero Connect widget, you'll need to familiarize yourself with the use of the widgets Spreadsheets.
For expedience sake, I have attached a couple of screen shots to get you towards changing the title ect.
The first shows the site with the changes I've made to the title.
The second shows where those changes were made in the HTML in column H. It also shows the area of the Key that needs to be placed into the widgets content sheet area. You will get this code after you have made a copy and published your own sheet as in the Hero connect video.
And the third shows my sheets where I've made the changes to my name and city.
    Hope this helps

Dj, thank you thank you for all the hard work. As I said I watched all the tutorials and am very familiar with the widget spread sheets,

I have created my pages and edited them. Sorry about the private link last time here it is again https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ezJR2JFiAjnFYq_hrpSyTnbo2QsP1Thn3wxq2s_oy6A/edit#gid=0

What is missing is a tutorial for Masters Page in Muse and how it effects the scaling text. I am referring to the "Connect Widgets Spreadsheet" Where is the tutorial for this scaling text?
In pic 3 below you can see that I have changed the google docs to my own but these do not effect the scaling text.

Actually the first thing that happens after I copy the google docs and re- insert them into muse is the Color Shoppe intro (scaling font) completely disappears and is replaced with a picture. (This is leaving everything as a copy and not changing anything just to test.)

I figured that it must be because I had not changed the "Connect Widgets Spreadsheet" so i went back and duplicated those and changed the text (as you show in H) and placed the new google doc address in the "Connect Widgets Spreadsheet" but still nothing. The scaling font intro is missing, I get nothing but the pictures.

Here are the other google docs

Soul, I'm not sure what you're adding or changing to the google docs?
The most important thing to remember with the Scaling Text widget is the 'Style' you have in the widget.
If you look at the same column (column H) in the google sheet, you'll see the same naming as the style......'Home_Headline'.
If you have change the style in the widget, then the name in the Column html, must match.
What I'm not understanding is the information your are looking for with the 'Master' page.
It doesn't have any thing to do with the Scaling Text widget.
    Sorry if I'm missing something.

Thanks DJ, we are drowning each other in a wall of text :) sorry. let me start over to simplify.

I just renewed my membership and bought a template, Where is the tutorial that shows how to change "color shoppe"?
Can you give me a link to the video or take a few minutes and record how you are accomplishing it?

I am assuming that since they sell the template they have a video showing how to change it, where is it?

UPDATE- we got it worked out in support,

What was confusing, since this was our first look at the template, was Ashtons reference in the video back to the Plan page in Muse where he grabs the address off the Connect Widget Spreadsheet. It made it seem, at first view, like you needed to go to the Connect Widget Spreadsheet (instead of the widget on the Home page, or perhaps in combination with) to change the text information.

Also to add to the confusion, you leave this video out http://demo.muse-themes.com/theme-color-shop/assets/home-video.mp4 of the the Color Shoppe template spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/117YMVQvrlu-1MXJltIgzrAhtu7iS7WQwP4bYIo7Xtmk/edit#gid=0

I think if you left the demo video on the template spreadsheet so that when the customer follows the directions it looks like the template we would never have written for help. Aye chihuahua ~

Thank you for all your help
