So far so good. I did the google doc. the menu is animating. from the side. Can the menu have it link down the page rather then a new page - link to an anchor point name. would you add it to the excel sheet??

What are we to put in a link in the spreadsheet. The site file name/page? or better yet site file mane/ anchor point name on the page?

    Hey! Good questions...

    1. Adding Anchor Links - the URL you would enter in the spreadsheet needs a hash symbol, followed by the anchorname. So #youranchor. Please note you will need the menu to be "pinned" (an option in the panel) in order for anchors to work. Otherwise the menu will stay at the top of the page when you jump down. Pinning it means the menu will carry down with you.

    2. Using an internal link. If it's a page on your Muse site, you could use the full domain (http://www.yourdomain.com/pagename.html). You could also just use a relative link, which would look like this > pagename.html

I just tested this and it works on my demo!

    Hope this helps!

mjohnston, if you are trying to go to another page in the same site you would configure the link like Steve stated above ( (http://www.yourdomain.com/pagename.html).
If you have a long one page scrolling site what Steve said about the Hashtag would look like this #about, or # services, ect. where the name of your anchor is services, or about. No need for a full URL.

I am trying to make anchor links as well. fx I have a line in my csv file that looks like this
    About Us,1,2,0,fa-user,en_lang_side.html#LoremIpsum/,_self
It only loads the top of the page. And I did set the menu to be fixed pinned.
Do you have any idea what is wrong?

Susanne, I would suggest removing the comma, space and special characters.

    Hi all

I also have issues with anchor links in sidebar connect. Can’t see what the problem is… the submenus fly out but don’t open.
DJ, what means «Please note you will need the menu to be "pinned" (an option in the panel) in order for anchors to work»? I’m not sure.

Added screenshots form Google Docs and Sidebar Connect menu. Maybe somebody has a clue.

    Thank you
