Since Google has changed the way it looks at mobile sites, I have created a separate mobile site for each of my clients. Now with responsive pages in Muse will Google accept this as a mobile site and index correctly. Also, do I need to keep the mobile versions of the sites or can I go back to each page and make them responsive and delete the mobile versions.

    Thank you for you help.

    Hey @Mickey Hough,

You have no need to worry my friend! The way that the good search algorithm assess your site is it looks at the page and assesses:
    • Whether all of the elements fit on a mobile device screen width.
    • What size text your text is on the mobile display.
    • The viewport of your website.
Obviously it is a lot more complex than these three stages, and there are many more stages. However the simple answer to your question is yes, as long as you have made your site responsive Google will absolutely recognise this as a mobile site.

You can ever check using Googles mobile SEO friendly tool, check it out here: https://www.google.co.uk/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/

    Thanks,
    Alex
