I have a general question that spans many MT widgets. Often when there is an Opacity setting, the opacity used values such as 0.4 (in this case 0.4 is the default "Overlay opacity" in Pop up Pro)

Most programs I'm used to are percentage based (eg 50%), and I've always been confused by the translation. Can I safely assume that 0.4=40%? If so, then why can't I set 0.25 to get the 25% equivalent? It simple rounds up to 0.3 when I try.

marcelt, I can mention this to the team, but the widget is set up for a basic 10%, 20% 30% ect Opacity.
I have to believe that 1/2% style increments wasn't deemed to be critical for those that tested it.
    I will pass it along.
    Thanks

Hmm. OK thanks. I guess it depend on how you're used to slicing things. If you divide by 4, then 25% is a full increment, not 1/2 :)
My vote would be to suppose proper 1-100%'s to be inline with native Adobe products.

    Thanks as usual DJ!
