    Hi

I have been looking since yesterday for an easy solution to this but haven't found one, maybe someone here can help.
What is the easiest way to create a Menu dropdown like this one from Rimowa.com - the Products drop down.

Ideally I would like to use Graphics in the Menu Bar rather than text but I can't work out how to do that either.

    Hey @ianmc

Thanks for posting on our new forum, and on that note, welcome!

This is a good question, one that we commonly get asked. I personally would recommend using the default accordion widget built into Muse, it has some great functionality and freedom of design. You can find this in your Widgets Library inside Muse. You could then pair this up with our Accordion Hover widget, this could add a nice slick feel to your site.

If you need some support in using the accordion widget, check out this knowledge base article.

Please do not hesitate to to any for any further help!

Thanks Alex, that was where I had got to and it looks great, but you lose the menu functionality this way, right?

So I just build a series of Accordions across the top of the page?

Ahh yes I see your issue there, if you want to have multiple drop downs on the same nav line then this could be an issue using the native Accordion Widget. In this case this could be a cool new widget suggestion idea. I shall do a little bit of playing around and see if I can find any work arounds.

    Thanks!

You could also try out our Mega Menu widget - I personally prefer this to the accordion. While it doesn't "push" content out of the way in a full width manner like your example site above, it's much easier to use on a single line and it's really easy to use custom graphics within the dropdown.

This is a widget we offer for free too, just in case you're not a member ;)

    Thanks Alex and Steve

Yes, a new Widget that did this would be great.

I am a Muse-themes member for a few years now but am very much an amateur - i have made 2 sites - breezecapeyamu.com and ckredrental.com based on some of your templates. However I'm now looking to turn ckredrental into a new site Londoncamera.rentals with proper design, logos, widgets etc as well as a blog, forum and numerous other elements that I'll add gradually (very gradually) over the coming months so I'll probably be bothering you a fair amount if that's okay.

The widgets look great though and I'm looking forward to incorporating them.

Thanks in the meantime for your help.

With the mega-menu I wouldn't be able to do the Accordion Hover, which looks great.

So could I stack 5 of these Accordion Hover widgets as a Horizontal menu bar?

    @ianmc ,

The beauty of Muse is that you can try these things out and if they don't work; you can move onto the next solution. The only worry I have with stacking accordions is that the label area is the same width as the content area, therefore you may end up with having labels overlapping each other meaning that certain menu items cannot be selected. Does that make sense?

Give it a go anyway and let us know how it goes!

    u?
Hi Steve, I am needing the Mega Menu Dropdown to act as a true menu, but the tutorial doesn't address this. Is it just a drop down?
