I'm looking at replacing my existing kit. Every time I start to spec things up I do the usual and get carried away and end up 'up-speccing' until things become too expensive. Any recommendations re laptop/desktop (I don't do much out of the office) and specs to look out for? (using Muse, Illustrator, Photoshop mainly)

Apple is off the menu btw, must be PC based :)

I just did a desktop build a few months back. Went fairly high end on specs since this is my main work computer:

    Processor - i7 6700K 4.2ghz 8mb
    Memory - 24gb Corsair Vengance
    Graphics - Nvidia GTX1080

Decent motherboard, water cooling and some solid state drives for the operating system.

It's a beast! If you're just doing graphics, I think a high end processor and tons of RAM would be my focus.

    Good luck!

Solid state hard drive is the only improvement you need to run Mu, AI, & PS.

If you can, go for an I5 Intel processor as a minimum spec. That's what I have but the SSD makes all the difference.
