My client would like a "translate" button on their site. I am using the Google Language Translator 1.1 widget.

I followed the tutorial video to set up, but still have a couple questions.

    1. How can you get rid of the push down menu from google when you first go to the site (see screen shot)?

    2. How can you make the dropdown menu from the widget responsive across breakpoints (see screenshot)?

    3. The "vertical scroll" option seems to be a nice choice, however there is no styling available?

Here is the site. Placement of the widget is rough, but you get the idea.

    Thank you for your help!

Sarah, unfortunately, I never been able to find a solution to these issues.
The code generating this is from Google.
I can suggest placing a support ticket (resources>contact us) and se if the team might have a code snippet that can counter act these functions, but I'm not sure if it's possible.
    Sorry

Thank you, DJ. Seems odd that the widget is available if there are so many bugs. I will see if I can find something that will work better.

I appreciate your response. Thank you!

Sarah, sorry this doesn't work for you.
I do need to point out, these are not 'bugs', but rather limitations in the Google supplied code.
When Google updates their code, I'm sure our developers will put out an update to this widgets functionality.
    Thanks
    Dj
