    Hello everyone,
I am looking for THE solution to get clean urls in Adobe Muse websites. Searching the internet I cannot find any solution that really removes .html, .php, etc in my site. Is there anyone who can lead me the way step by step? Thank you very much in advance!

You can do so with the .htaccess file that is on your hosting provider. That is the only way I know of.

Login to your host provider with a FTP client (filezilla for pc or Duck Ftp for mac) and find the .htaccess file put it on to your desktop and open it with a simple text editor.
With an .htaccess file you can:
    • Redirect the user to different page
    • Password protect a specific directory
    • Block users by IP
    • Preventing hot linking of your images
    • Rewrite URIs
    • Specify your own Error Documents
To remove the .php extension from a PHP file for example to you have to add the following code inside the .htaccess file:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.php [NC,L]
    RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.html [NC,L]

save the file, uploaded it back to the host and overwrite the file when asked. That’s it!
